Binners have recently declined in numbers dramatically from a peak in the late 1970's it is believed there are just a few thousand left in existence and that the survival of the species depends entirely on whether Marcus Evans (Chairman) manages to succesfully claim the grant money offered by the UK government in return for allowing the patch of ground at which the surving binners congregate (AKA Portman Road) to be used for the burial of hazardous nuclear waste.
